The ultimate NZ Indie Music Mixtape and LP

In celebration of New Zealand Music Month 2degrees and MusicHy.pe have banded together to launch the ultimate New Zealand Indie Mixtape and LP.

During May, visitors to www.musichype.com will get to listen to a selection of NZ’s hottest independent bands and rank their favourites. The top 12 will will make part of a limited edition custom USB stick and vinyl LP (yes that’s right, vinyl!!!), making it the first official “NZ Indie Mix Tape”.

Voters also have the chance to submit a mix tape inspired design and compete to have their art appear on the LP cover and on the official “NZ Indie Mix Tape” t-shirt. We’re also giving away a Nokia 5130 XpressMusic handset to one lucky voter.
