New Zealand’s third mobile phone network has unveiled its name and number. It is called Two Degrees and its customers will have the 022 prefix.
Chief commercial officer Bill McCabe discuss what will be on offer when the 3G network kicks off in August.

New cellphone network set to launch

New Zealand’s third cellphone network, Two Degrees, is due to launch in August.
Formerly known as NZ Communications, it’s a $250 million partnership between three foreign investors and Maori.
However CEO Mike Reynolds is staying tight-lipped about prices, but will say that New Zealand cellphone users are paying too much, especially when they call someone on another network.
