2degrees sponsors Pasifika 2010

2degrees is delighted to be a key sponsor of Pasifika 2010.

We will be running a Pasifika art competition where entrants can give the 2degrees logo their own special Pasifika look. We’re looking for designs inspired by street art, weaving, tapa designs, materials or tattoos, or artists can just go wild and let their creativity take over. Visitors to the festival can draw their design at the 2degrees Art Zone located near the Emerging Artists Stage or download the competition entry in advance here (PDF) . Email your entries to us at Pasifikaart@2degreesmobile.co.nz or bring it with you on the day.

The winner and two runners up will win a year’s free airtime on 2degrees and the winning design will be showcased in local press and displayed at the 2degrees corporate office. Other favourites will be shown on a special event gallery that will be set up on the 2degrees Facebook fan page. Terms and conditions do apply.*

2degrees Mobile will also be offering visitors to the Pasifika Festival free 5 minute phone calls to anywhere in the world via their ‘2degrees Connection Booths’ located at the 2degrees Connection Point in the Samoan Village at the event on 13th March. The only option not available to festival goers is calling satellite phones and our standard pre-paid calling conditions apply.

All entries and the associated image become the property of Two Degrees Mobile Limited on delivery to it. If your entry is judged a provisional winner of the competition, 2degrees will contact you and may seek your permission to use the entry and the associated image in its marketing material. If you cannot give that permission or fail to provide a valid telephone contact details with your entry 2degrees may select another winner. The winners will be chosen on 16 March 2010 and will be the entries considered by the judges to be the most creative entries received. The Judging panel will be made up of Ole Maiava, Director of Pasifika and Eric Hertz, CEO of Two Degrees Mobile who will select a winner and two runners up. Judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Each of the three winners will receive a years free airtime comprising of 12 x $30 monthly top up vouchers.
