2degrees Christchurch network update - 23/2/11 4:30pm

Mobile coverage on the 2degrees Christchurch network is being restored as generators are connected, although aftershocks and battery power levels continue to prove challenging.

With 2degrees cell sites largely unaffected by the earthquake the main issue has been power supply, as batteries powering some sites have run down over night and during the day.
