Am I the only one who gets their mobile phone bill and emits a scream of rage every month?

I’m looking forward to seeing some good media analysis and commentary next week on the Commerce Commission’s draft report on mobile termination rates when it’s released. As a layman my understanding of the issue is limited and I would…

Telecom’s bully-boy tactics aimed at stifling mobile competition

AUCKLAND, May 25 2009

2degrees said today that Telecom’s continued refusal to interconnect with 2degrees’ proposed local calling service was blatantly anti-competitive and a clear abuse of Telecom’s significant market power.

The situation, Reynolds says, is a…

A new fighter in the phone-y war

Published by the Sunday Star Times

By Tim Hunter | 17 May 2009

The CEO of mobile phone company 2degrees is understandably reticent about his plans.

Launching the new brand in Auckland on Monday, Mike Reynolds politely ducked questions on pricing structures and marketing plans, citing the risk those heavyweight scrappers, Vodafone and Telecom, might land a punch even before the bell sounds for round one.

But though the three-way fight is much anticipated,…

Is there any plans in the pipeline for 2 degrees to support Blackberry Data Plans?
