New cellphone network set to launch

New Zealand’s third cellphone network, Two Degrees, is due to launch in August.

Formerly known as NZ Communications, it’s a $250 million partnership between three foreign investors and Maori.

However CEO Mike Reynolds is staying tight-lipped about prices, but will say that New Zealand cellphone users are paying too much, especially when they call someone on another network.
